Got up this morning and found out that we are going to field later on..

Had meetings in the morning (as normal) and then found out that no, we are actually now going across the river to another Quay and will be there to take on stores etc.. Not that I’m going to complain as it seems a fine idea to me ..

So we arrive alongside and I decide to wander into Liverpool, yey!.. Not too far either and managed to find Waterstones, with the help of a member of staff wandering about, although I knew it was roughly where I was I was struggling to make head nor tail of the map on the wall when this gentleman wandered over and asked if he could help.. Blimey.. He then gave me very concise instructions and off I wandered.. Brr chilly..

Got to Waterstones and remembered.. It’s a big one!!!! Oh boy!!.. Costa at the top too.. Angel would have loved it she could have chilled drinking Chai while I wandered around looking like a kid in a sweet shop!.. Anyway only ended up buying four books.. Although I was sorely tempted to buy a lot more I’m hoping I’m not on here much longer.. Headed back to the vessel not before stopping for some more Dongle credit, some choc and a bottle of cherry coke (my treats).

So now back on-board and we are heading to the field later tonight.. Have a new Rep on here so sorting stuff out with him and well with any luck will know when I’m off tomorrow.. Keep those fingers crossed..
