Well finally found out that I am off on the 18th or there about’s.. I’m still trying to find out when and how but then I’m not too surprised that nothing much is forthcoming from the beach these days, I get the impression that some serious conversations are taking place at the moment and nothing is looking rosey..

Ok.. I hate satcoms.. I just typed out a huge section here for the blog and then the satcom dropped out, alas I normally do the old control A and copy the selection before hitting submit (just in case that happens) but this time I didn’t … ARGHH!!!

Anyway in general I waffled about the need for something to do as I seem to be spending a lot of time just doing nothing and I have gone into a phase where I don’t want to read any more books lol.. Well for the time being anyway as it’s getting a tad expensive don’t you know… So.. what to do.. I keep thinking about downloading a X-assembler for 6502 and playing about with some old code and ideas making a C64 demo for a laugh and then I think about it a bit more and realise that there is no real incentive to do that, after all who is interested in C64 demos, even if I do one yeah it will be pretty coo.. but why?..

Got a couple of good ideas whizzing about in my head and want to try to build some cool things, for Angel I have some awesome ideas.. And trying to work out how to do one of them might be way beyond me (hell I think I’m grasping with the other ones but this one is just way  way way out there!!!)..

So in the meantime I think I will download Python and setup and IDE on this machine (well if I can get the darn thing to download over the satcom link that is).

I really want to listen to the F1 practice session but alas that isn’t going to happen as the long is just too damn slow..
