I was going to fill in the gaps, as it were, on what happened last month. But after thinking it through why? I’ll just recap a little bit here instead –

Most of my last working trip in November was weather days with me getting home fairly early on in the day, which was nice. This allowed for the re-jig of the Extension somewhat. Then went to Eastbourne for a week and fretted when the remote access to the CCTV went down (this was preceded by some motorist mowing down one of the telegraph poles on the road out the front) which meant I was relying on the microwave link, which is to say it failed on the Tuesday after we went leaving me wondering if someone had robbed the place.

Had a good time in Eastbourne and although I suffered with a bad back for a couple of days I rather enjoyed going round the old places, although maybe next time some nicer weather would be better 😉

Managed to get to see a few people but missed a few more in the dash around places. The town hasn’t changed much really.. Drove past our old house and saw that it looks empty right now with the same curtains and blinds up we left over two years ago!.. In general a bit like Eastbourne I guess 😉

Played some Magic with old friends and enjoyed it a lot, although for some reason it felt as if there were less rules and the cards/combinations were not as strange/difficult to get to grips with.. Maybe its just me?

Anyway had a great time, even though the weather was terrible most of the time, before we headed back on the Thursday evening. The trip back wasn’t too bad either stopped off at the services before getting back late (10pm-ish), turns out no one had pinched anything and a Bird had landed on one of the cameras (I looked at the footage and had a chuckle when it happened too).

Noticed that the radiator in the Games room is leaking from the valve so I have to sort that out, for now just turned it off.

Had the Boiler serviced the other week and seems the pressure vessel has failed? When replaced Tuesday it appears the flexible pipe going to it was blocked hence the reason for the failure.. Fingers crossed that sorts it out, the small spare bedroom is going to be the retro room as after thinking about putting another log cabin the garden for it I came to the conclusion that it wouldn’t be worth the hassle.

So a new desk arrived for that room yesterday and I put it up.. looks ok too.. 🙂

Bonus point is I now have a corner to set up my soldering station and work on little projects too!

Monitor on the Gauntlet machine has failed, started to replace it with a butchered TV unit that I’m hacking about (fits ok but need to play with it some more for the picture at the moment).

Found out that the job I thought I might have next year is now going to be in 2016 🙁 So I have to look for something else come the new year, got me a bit down the last couple of days because I was hoping to continue with this company, but I shall have to see what happens.

The dogs have been ill the last week as well with Angel also suffering from a cold.. All at once eh?

Looks like might be offshore for the first time in a week tomorrow.. Fingers crossed as a safer place than in the office 😉

Oh and got Angel a corny Xmas card 😉
